For those of you who have Dark Souls (PS3) and are a bit frustrated finding your friends to Co-op with, Patch 1.04 has promised to ease your troubles. The upcoming patch has been announced “in progress” but a release date has yet to be said. Speculation says it will arrive within the next month, but that is only a guess. But worry not, for not only will this patch make the match-making a bit better, but it will also do much more to make your gaming experience much more enjoyable.

Roughly Translated from the Japanese Site, here is a list of the many things to expect.

-Many Glitch Fixes
-Use of Magic (Magic Shield + Strong Magic Shield) -glitch fix-
-Nerfing of the “Ring of Fog” (i.e. Lock-On now possible, Ring of Fog will no longer dominate PvP)
-Balancing of Weapons Attribute Compatibility -glitch fix-
-Matchmaking improved (May be much easier to co-op with a buddy)
-Infinite Magic Use -glitch fix-
-Infinite Item Use -glitch fix-
-History of gentle peace (Review of the effects of the failure load when switching to Map)

If you find anything that needs fixin’, don’t hesistate to email “From Software” at their site: http://www.fromsoftware.jp/support/

We’ll be bringing you an update when an official release date for the patch arrives, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, level up to stay 10% of your friend’s levels, so that when the time comes you’ll waste no time playing together.
