Following our earlier story, PlayStation 3 owners who were anticipating Battlefield 1943 to come packaged with their copies of Battlefield 3 will now be given free access to the game after it was pulled back in October.
Promising the free download for those who purchased Battlefield 3, EA underwent a lawsuit that claimed EA “misled and profited” from a promise they never intended to keep.
However, it seems EA will now offer 1943 to those who purchased Battlefield 3, as they stated they would prior to the game’s release. Those who wish to get Battlefield 1943 still have to go through a process, but without any doubt, many people will finally have the game downloaded on their consoles soon enough.
