Mass Effect 3 set to deliver a spellbinding soundtrack.

It’s without a doubt that the Mass Effect series contains a compelling soundtrack that fans have come to love and torrent throughout the years since it’s release. The soundtrack immerses the audience by setting the emotional tone for General Shepard as he attempts to take Earth back from the Reapers.

As we’ve come to expect as Mass Effect fans, the soundtrack is set to captivate us once more by bringing back some composers and leading artist from the first two games in Mass Effect 3. Some of the artists include:

  • Clint Mansell is a Golden Globe nominated Hollywood composer. He’s known for scoring award winning films including The Wrestler, Black Swan, and Requiem for a Dream.
  •  Christopher Lennertz, an Emmy nominated Hollywood composer who’s known for his work on Horrible Bosses, previously composed Mass Effect 2: Overload, and Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker. Lennertz also won the Interactive Academy Award for Medal of Honor.
  • Cris Velasco, known for composing the God of War series’ score, has also worked on downloadable content Mass Effect 2: Kasumi and Mass Effect 2: Arrival.
  • Sam Hulick composed the score for Mass Effect, Mass Effect: Bring Down the Sky and Mass Effect 2.
  • Sascha Dikicyan, one of the video game industry’s veterans, has composed the score for TRON: Evolution and the DLC Mass Effect scores, Kasumi and Arrival.

“The magic of BioWare games has always been the emotional power of the story, so music is extremely important to the experience,” said Casey Hudson, Executive Producer of the Mass Effect series. “With Mass Effect 3, we’re taking players on a more personal journey, even though the scope is bigger than ever – an all-out galactic war!  Each composer has played an intricate role in delivering the combination of epic scope and delicate emotion that will make Mass Effect 3 the best game in the series.”

Uhhh you got your facts mixed up. Hulick did not work on God of War at all. Nor Kasumi nor Arrival. He worked on Mass Effect 1 and 2.

Thanks for catching the mistake! I accidentally repeated what I initially wrote for Cris Valesco and inserted the wrong name! Honest mistake. :)
