MIT hacks Green Building into a playable game of Tetris

MIT hacks Green Building into a playable game of Tetris

Alright, so check this: A group of MIT students decided to go above and beyond the typical 47″ inch TV display by hacking one of their University’s buildings into a playable game of Tetris.

Ideally, the University’s ‘Green Building’ sets itself up as the perfect structure to hack up and play a game of Tetris on. According to IHTFP Hack Gallery, “MIT hackers have long considered ‘Tetris on the Green building’ to be the Holy Grail of hacks.”

As awesome as this looks, the only compliant I have is the lack of a soundtrack. C’mon, MIT! Couldn’t you guys hack a few speakers along the way, or perhaps re-wire the speakers to an iPod? Oh, fine. I’m nit-picking now. Honestly though, can we expect Uncharted to be re-released on the Green Building platform? Perhaps not, but one can finally use the argument, “I played Tetris on a building. Your argument is invalid.”
