Ubisoft Announces “Arctic Strike” DLC for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Ubisoft Announces “Arctic Strike” DLC for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

Today, Ubisoft announces the first DLC pack for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, which will include three new multiplayer maps, a new adversarial gametype, six additional weapons to the players’ arsenal, a new ‘Guerrilla Mode’ co-op map, and a few extra goodies. To celebrate the release of “Arctic Strike,” there will be Double XP from now up until the launch on July 17th. That’s a whole week for you to prep before trying your hand at the new maps.

Stockade: Like dodge-ball, with more shooting.

Say hello to “Stockade,” a new gametype that you’ll be getting real familiar with. Elimination is key, as the main name of the game is to take out the entire opposing team before the timer runs out. Here are the basic rules:

  •  When players die they go to a respawn queue – the “Stockade”.
  •  When a player gets a kill, one dead teammate gets freed from the Stockade.
  •  Completing an objective frees all of their teammates from the Stockade.

Just like dodge-ball in the playground; and you’ll have your chance to play this gametype in all 13 multiplayer maps. Happy Hunting.

Three New Multiplayer Maps: Riot, Skyline, & Evicted

Not much is known about these new maps, so you can rest easy with the knowledge that your opponent doesn’t know either. But, if you’re really itching for a glimpse at these playgrounds, here are a few released screenshots:
