Electronic Arts Inc. today revealed that in 2010, Medal of Honor, an all-new first-person shooter game, will introduce the Tier 1 Operator: a relatively unknown entity directly under the National Command Authority who takes on missions no one else can handle. Released just two weeks ago, over 2 million retails copies of L4D2 have been sold worldwide and the game appears to be on target to become one of the top selling Xbox and PC titles for the month of November. Sales to date are more than double the original title, which was released exactly one year prior to L4D2. And "Black Friday" promotions during the title's second week of availability in North American resulted in stronger than expected sales in L4D2's bid to become one of this year's best selling releases on both platforms.

Christmas Clix is an arcade puzzle game similar to the play style of Bejeweled or Tetris. The goal of Christmas Clix is to decorate the Christmas tree by quickly removing the colored presents and ornaments that Santa stacks. Nintendo's internal tracking numbers show that the company sold more than 1.5 million Wii, Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi video game systems combined in the United States during Thanksgiving Week. That works out to more than 150 Nintendo systems sold every minute continuously for the week – or more than 2.5 every second.

In only a matter of days Black Friday will hit. Once everybody fills up on Turkey and stuffing, shoppers set out to get ready for the Holiday season. Black Friday can be summed up on only one word... Chaotic! We all see the videos on the local news, crazy mothers beat run down shopping isles like it's a marathon. People run for the cheapest deals in town. Here in Florida-land we are blessed with an abundance of 24 hour Wal-Marts. And this year I wanted to post at least a few Black Friday deals that will be going on this Friday.

Activision Blizzard, Inc. announced today that Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continues to shatter theatrical box office and video game sales records for five-day worldwide sell through in dollars. The biggest entertainment launch in history set a new worldwide estimated five-day sell-through record of approximately $550 million, according to internal Activision estimates.
