Before you begin to read my review, I would like to get this out of the way: My first pair of Turtle Beaches ended up defective. Much like any great product, a few just don’t make it out as great as they should. With that, I was able to experience Turtle Beach’s customer support. I will not be basing my review off the customer support or the first defective pair I received. In part, this will be based off the replacement second pair. I will go into detail with the experience of my first pair, but I that’s the only time I will mention them. If you wish to read about my customer support experience, read passed the score at the end. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood Review

Gaming in the Wild West has never been this much fun…
I happen to be one of the few out there that absolutely loved the original Call of Juarez. Sure it had it’s share of problems, but the game reminded me of a “Oblivion-type game set in the Wild West”.
I am also a fan of the old spaghetti western movies. One of my favorite movies is called “Four of the Apocalypse” from the late, great horror maestro Lucio Fulci. I also love the old Italian-made Sergio Leoni/Clint Eastwood flick, from “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” to “For A Few Dollars More”. I still think those scrubs in Hollywood can’t touch those classics no matter how hard they try.
I also think the western genre is very scare in the videogame world. We have had some real clunkers in the past. Games like . GUN was a pretty good, and the Rockstar game Red Dead Revolver was simply amazing. I stumbled upon Call of Juarez by accident. My local game store here in Florida was having a sale and I just happened to pick up the title. I played the Xbox 360 demo and was not too impressed. But once I dove into the full game I was actually hooked.
