In the past few Sonic games on the DS, Sega has really put an edge to what Sonic should be; fast paced and fun. Since Sega released Sonic Rush on the DS, Sonic has really gone back to his roots with intense speed and Sonic’s classical side-scrolling gameplay with a much deeper storyline than any other Sonic Game on the consoles. Sonic Rush has really helped shine the light on the Blue Blur himself.
Sega than later decided to rid Sonic of the side-scrolling and create a new kind of game with the help of the critically acclaimed Bioware, whom has been well-known for creating some of the best RPGs in the video game industry.

Titus the company that was found in 1985, developed games such as ROBOCOP (XBOX) and KAO THE KANGAROO (PC) have a winner on their hands with Prehistorik Man.
Guest Review by Jamie Foster
Back when I was younger I went to the local store to find a game to play and took my chances on a game called Prehistorik Man for the SNES. The game at first looked like it might not be all that good but I took a chance and tried it. Fast forward some twelve odd years later and I refound a game that made me happy in my earlier years. I had Gamestop do a search and they found the game to my surprise so I grabbed it for the GameBoy Advance (played via the DS lite).
Prehistorik Man is about a caveman named Sam Bigrock who woke up one morning to find all of the food in the village had been eaten by dinosaurs. The village chief tells Sam he must now go on a journey to find enough dinosaur bones to buy the village food to survive the harsh winter.

I remember when I bought my Nintendo 64 system and Mario 64 was the game to have. It blew everybody’s mind with its 3D environments, vibrant colors and charming aesthetics. It simply broke barriers in gaming.
To this day, every 3D platform game that you play on your Nintendo GameCube, Sony PlayStation 2 and Microsoft Xbox can give thanks to Shigeru Miyamoto (arguably the greatest developer of all time) and his masterpiece Super Mario 64. The game sold systems, and even to this day, it can stand up next to many new platform games and still blow them out of the water.

I am a really big fan when it comes to first person shooters and I have played a first person shooter on practically every system out there. Recently, I got to thinking about FPSs available out there and I felt it was time to take a rest from the COD4 on the Playstation 3 for a bit. So I decided to head over to my local GameStop just too look around and see what I can get my hands on.

The Crystal Chronicles series returns on the Nintendo DS.
When you hear the name “Square” you think of two things. The first thing that comes to mind is the basic square. You know, that thing that has four sides. If you are a gamer when you hear the name “Square” you think of the kick-ass Japanese gaming company. You think of one of the greatest RPG series ever to grace a television screen. You think of Final Fantasy.

Nintendo could have just ported over the Nintendo 64 version of Mario Kart. But they went all out for the DS version. You have a ton of tracks both new and old (over 30 tracks). The retro courses takes you back to SNES, GBA, N64 and GameCube tracks. I was very happy to see such classic tracks as the Rainbow track and Wario’s track. You can now relive those awesome tracks in your car, on the road, in a airplane or in the bathroom. A portable Mario Kart that lives up to the big boys.

Ninja Gaiden started back in the good old days of Arcade. I remember they had the Arcade cabinet set up at the North Point Flea Market in Baltimore Maryland. I would play the hell out of the game and waste every quarter I had in my pocket. The Arcade version was totally awesome. Fighting big muscle guys in hockey masks (Friday the 13th), doing flips on street posts, knocking down telephone booths. And most of all, you were a Ninja. This was the coolest concept ever!
