MLB The Show is back for another winning season!
This year Sony returns with what could be the best baseball franchise series out there on the gaming market. While Major League Baseball 2009 did make a nice comeback after last years disappointment, MLB 09 The Show showed up at the ballpark early and did full batting practice. Once again Sony does not disappoint.
While I may be a die-hard New York Yankees fan and I pretty much hate everything about the Boston Red Sox, this years cover boy did not shy me away from the game. They could put Satan himself on the cover and I would still buy the title because The Show has always been a franchise that was worth every penny spent.

Today I am taking a break in the Holiday rush to do a review for the Nintendo Wii (as well as the PSP version of MOH:H2). First off I hope everybody had a great Christmas. I for one an going on a diet on January 1st, 2008. Too much food. Ugh… Anyway, The game that I am reviewing has been out for quite some time on the Nintendo Wii and with so many other games it actually got pushed back on playing time. This game is Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for the Nintendo Wii and PSP system. Like most of you out there, I have been hearing a ton of good things about this game. We have all heard news especially on the way the game controls with your Wii-mote. So how does this game play on the Nintendo Wii?

Sonic and friends are back on the PSP racing against each other to the finish and introducing 3 more new rivals to join the ring bashing fun in the newest installment in the Sonic Rivals series, SONIC RIVALS 2. With all new modes and cards, will Sonic Rivals 2 be as good as the first Sonic Rivals?
Review by Aaron Espinoza
Sonic is back to bring racing mayhem with Shadow, Knuckles, Silver, and Metal Sonic! And with three newly added rivals Tails, Espio and Rouge, this will be the biggest race yet
This time around, Sonic Rivals has been taken up a notch. Backbone entertainment has decided to add more voice acting and extra modes to the game. The voice acting does extremely well, especially since we all hate it when we have to read most of the character dialog! Backbone also decided to add 6 modes to the game, which can be a good addition to Sonic Rivals 2, but I will explain these later on in the review.

Review by Cropsy
I grew up in the 1980’s, when the NES was at its height. If you were a kid in those days you either owned a Nintendo Entertainment System or a Sega Master System (the NES owners were about 80/20 to the Master System owner). Back in those days we had such great titles like the Mario Bros. series, Castlevania, Zelda, etc. I could go on and on about the wealth of great titles the NES had.

GCN’s Aaron Espinoza takes us back and gives us his take with a classic review of Socom U.S Navy Seals Fire Team Bravo 2 for the Sony Playstation Portable (PSP).
Socom has been around for quite sometime now, ever since the days of the PS2. Socom has now furthered on to the PSP. Much like Socom’s tiny child to take on the go.
In Socom U.S. Navy Seals Fire Team Bravo 2, nothing really has changed from its original series that came from the PS2. So most people will feel right at home when playing.

Yukes brings some much-needed love to the Sony Playstation Portable
The Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) has seen many ups and downs since its launch a few years ago. We first had the birth and death of the UMD Movie format. Recently the flow of quality games slow down to a sudden crawl. Sony is still trying to pump life into it’s PSP system. We have had some very good titles in 2008, from a PSP version of God of War to Silent Hill: Origins.
Lets face it, the Sony PSP system is a technological monster compared to the likes of say, the Nintendo DS system. Gamers have also seen a bit of new life pumped into the PSP with the latest addition to the PSN Store. So anyone out there counting out the PSP needs to take a step back and see that the system is here to stay.

The smell of hotdogs and cold beer is in the air. The chalk lines are fresh on the field and the nation is gearing for yet another season of baseball. And to the gaming community this also means that the consoles are gearing up for another year of baseball season. 2K Sports is back again with Major League Baseball 2K8, the latest of their hardball franchise. As a huge die-hard Yankees fan I always look forward to the games that hit right around Spring Training. And this year was no different. Major League Baseball 2K8 hits the big this year (PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii) and nobody is being left this time around. I had the pleasure of taking on Major League Baseball 2K8 for the Playstation 3. And while Major League Baseball 2K8 does still have a few issues that need to be addressed, this years entry is much better then last years.

Bram Stroker created him in his novels, and the great Bela Lugosi graced that famous black cape back in 1931 and made Dracula a household name. Since that time the blood-sucking night creature has graced many forms of entertainment. One of those forms of entertainment was in the shape of a NES game named Castlevania. It spawned a series that still goes strong to this day. Even today with the three next generation game systems it is still nice to go back on the Wii Virtual Shop Channel or the PSN and download the classics. But one Castlevania classic stands out above the rest. That game was Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
