Ghost Recon: Future Soldier goes gold

The latest installment in the Ghost Recon series, according to Ubisoft, has finally “passed the gold master stages of development” for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and is slated for a May 22nd release in the US.

Within the last few weeks, gamers have been given the opportunity to beta test Ubisoft’s flagship third person shooter franchise across the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 The beta, not only beneficiary to Future Soldier’s development process, has also given players an idea of what to anticipate in a futuristic take on one of the gaming industry’s most prominent third person shooter franchises.

According to Ubisoft, Future Soldier is set to release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 22th (May 25th in the UK) and will release for the PC on July 15.

The Midnight Purple Nintendo 3DS, offered at a suggested retail price of $169.99 in the United States, becomes the fifth color in the always-stylish Nintendo 3DS color palette, joining Cosmo Black, Aqua Blue, Flame Red and Pearl Pink. Now fans have another option to customize the look of their systems to suit their individual styles and personalities.

Nintendo 3DS lets users enjoy games and videos in 3D without the use of special glasses. Available later today in the US to download from Sony Entertainment Network, with the EU PSN version and the worldwide release on Xbox LIVE Arcade following tomorrow, Awesomenauts is a side scrolling multiplayer online battle arena game. The game mixes 80′s cartoon graphics and platforming gameplay with a deep and modern upgrade system.

Pick one of the six Awesome characters and join a team of 3 Awesomenauts to duke it out on the online battlefields. Defeat droids, turrets, other players and finally the enemy base to win! The choice of characters ranges from a hardy cowboy that solves everything with dynamite, a mysterious floating brain that can heal allies, a spacefrog that can use dazzling breakdance moves to other, even crazier heroes.
